This is a picture of Haruko from FLCL episode 4 (If you've been watching me, or have watched FLCL, I shouldn't need to repeat this, and as their will be future fan art concepts from guess where?). Haruko is perhaps my favorite anime character, so there's no such thing as over kill each time I draw her. Okay, incase you didn't see the animation, or would rather see this picture when she's not moving around, well here you go.
This picture is pencil drawn, inked with a Pigma Micron archival ink .2 mm pen, then scanned in and edited in Photoshop CS. I used eye candy for the bleacher's wood effect, but you can't see the bleacher's that well anyway because of smoke pouring out of Medical Mechanica...whew, I had to repeat this part in the animated version, so It's annoying to have to retype it.
The reason I have the non-animated picture is because the animated one isn't perfect. I'm surprised at how well my animation did come out, the only imperfection, I think, is the eye's on the hat, and the front of the hat; when Haruko moves her head forward those are the only two parts that seem unrealistic.
This is very nice. It looks almost exactly like a screencap from the anime.
